INSTRUCTIONS: To begin using the BSV™ Defensive Slide Trainer™ it is recommended that you are sitting down to fasten the straps around your shoes middle of foot near your ankles adjusting the straps for a tight fit. Note: Pull straps away from the insoles to tighten and make sure that the rubber stops and Slide Stop Spacing Cylinder™ are perpendicular to your insoles and as close to the floor/ground as possible. Users should then walk to the area where slide training will take place as running with the BSV™ Defensive Slide Trainer™ is not recommended and could result in serious injury! Once in place the user can start the slide workout moving right or left, and when moving backwards, in a diagonal pattern. IMPORTANT NOTE: The user must maintain a wide stance while sliding to keep the SSSC from making contact with the rubber stops. This is where the true work begins! At first the user may repeatedly JAM the SSSC into the rubber stops and the straps may have to be tightened and repositioned. Ultimately the user will get use to a new wide stance and muscle memory will carry the quicker and newly developed wide stance into competition. The BSV™ Defensive Slide Trainer™ will help prevent the user’s feet from crossing and strengthen the muscles that support a wider stance to produce lightning quick defensive slides that will cut-off the competition. Whether you're an athlete competing in basketball, baseball, football, soccer or tennis, the Defensive Slide Trainer will help you achieve the competitive edge many will desire! The BSV™ Defensive Slide Trainer™ can be used indoors or outdoors, workout or with your sports team or trainer and can be worn during regular lateral slide exercise training. BSV™ Basketball Defensive Slide Trainer™   The Golden Rule in Basketball IS Great Defensive Creates Offense!   Everyone Wants The Edge! •The Basketball Defensive Slide Trainer is a training device that is worn on each tennis shoe and is positioned between the legs close to the ground or floor. It conditions and strengthens a basketball player’s legs and buttocks muscles while exercising and practicing defensive slides through its resistance cylinder system called the (SSSC) Slide Stop Spacer Cylinder. The Slide-Stop Spacing Cylinder™ eliminates the chances of the defensive sliders feet from coming together within a specified measurement of not closer than 8 inches and the (SSSC) length is therefore contingent more upon size than age, however the size most commonly tested was 14 inches to 17inches respectively so a distance of 8 to 17 inches seems to be the best demonstrated lengths for proper function and purpose of the invention. The whole point of training with the Basketball Defensive Slide Trainer is to keep the defensive sliders feet from ever coming together while defending another basketball player as tripping over ones own feet is commonplace while sliding, and the best stance is always a wide stance which the Basketball Defensive Slide Trainer helps train the user to achieve through muscle conditioning.
